Who needs Workmen Compensation insurance?

Workers' compensation insurance is a mandatory type of insurance required by law in Lebanon according to Labor Law Decree number 136 dated 16/09/1983, employers are liable towards their employees following any work related accident.
Workers' compensation insurance can also protect your business from being sued by employees for workplace conditions that can cause an injury or illness.
Workers' compensation programs do not provide coverage for injuries that occur while an employee is not acting within the scope of employment - such as playing football with friends on a day off.

Employer’s Liability extension
