Car Insurance:
Selecting the right car insurance coverage for your needs
When it comes to car insurance, there are numerous options on the market. However, not all policies are created equal. While the insurance policy with the lowest price might be most attractive to you, selecting an option solely on price might end up costing you in the long run.
Insuria provides five levels of Motor Vehicle Insurance to ensure the right level of cover for your needs:
― Third Party Bodily Injury:
The most basic cover that protects against Bodily injury you may cause to another person. This policy is designed to comply with the compulsory motor insurance. The cover offered provides indemnity to third parties who suffer bodily injury or death (including medical expenses) as a result of an accident involving you client's vehicle. No cover is provided for:
- Damage to third party property
- Bodily injury or death to members of the drivers (or the Policy Holder's) immediate family.
― Third Party Property & material Damage:
The most basic cover that protects against the damage you may cause to another person’s vehicle
No cover is provided for:
- Damage to the driver's (or the Policy Holder's) property.
- Bodily injury or death to third party or policy Holder's immediate family and drivers.
― Total Loss Cover:
Provides cover for a lower value vehicle, but still want cover against total damage, fire & total theft to your own vehicle.
― Collision Cover:
Collision coverage will cover the damage to your car if you are in an accident. Your insurance policy will not pay for damage to your auto caused by an event other than a collision, such as fire, theft or vandalism.
― Comprehensive (All Risk) Cover:
Provides the broadest level of protection – including:
- Loss and damage caused to your own vehicle by Collision, theft, Hold-up, Terrorism & SRCC, or damage caused by storms, fires, or other natural causes. As well as damage you cause to another person’s vehicle, plus some extras like scratching and denting, road assistance, repair in the nearest dealer Service Department and car replacement.
- Medical coverage pays for your medical bills (or your passengers’) if you’re in an accident, regardless of who is at fault. You can pick a range of coverage limits.
- Passenger liability is critical if you ever plan on having a passenger on your car. You should strongly consider passenger liability insurance even if it is not required. This ensures your friends and family are protected.

Passenger Car
For many people, it's cost-effective to use their personal vehicles for private purposes, such as transporting, leisure, etc. We can insure your vehicle, even if you use it for personal and commercial use.
Private Passenger vans
Passenger vans usually seat 12-15 people and are commonly used privately to transport family members to different outings.
Taxi Limousine
Taxi insurance is specialized because as a taxi driver, you become explicitly responsible for the safety of passengers. It is important to get commercial taxi insurance that covers your vehicle against damage and theft, as well personal injury to you and your customers.
Pickup trucks
We insure a wide variety of pickup trucks-from standard beds to heavy duty pickups with an industrial hitch. The ease of use of a pickup is perfect for on the go workers. They provide both passenger space and excellent hauling capabilities.
Tow trucks
These are also called flatbeds, car carriers or anything else used to tow a vehicle. Flatbeds and car carriers are very similar; however, car carriers have a hydraulic lift that tilts the bed down, whereas flatbeds stay stationary.
Box trucks
Box trucks, also known as straight trucks, are most commonly used to haul furniture and appliances. Typically drivers do not need a commercial driver's license (CDL) to drive a box truck because they are used more for local routes and the light weight of the vehicle.
Dump trucks
We cover specialty trucking such as dump trucks for dirt, sand, and gravel hauling and stake body trucks for logging. Dump trucks are structured differently than most trucks. They can withstand off road and construction site use however if loaded incorrectly can become a safety hazard and tip over.
Whether you drive a delivery van or own a small fleet of cargo vans, it's important to make sure that your business and vehicles are protected with commercial van insurance. To us, the terms "business vans" and "commercial vans" are interchangeable. Call it whatever you want, and we'll insure it.
Cargo vans
Cargo vans are typically all white, windowless, with two front seats and a large empty cargo area in the back. These usually have a large exterior space to advertise a company logo/name.
Passenger vans
Passenger vans usually seat 12-15 people and are commonly used by organizations to transport members to different outings.
Mini vans
Most people associate minivans with family, but many businesses are also transforming them into commercial vehicles. If you're using a minivan for business purposes, we'll likely insure it. And yes, that counts minivans you use for both personal and business reasons.
